stiff fabric

I had to purchase child sized shoes because Billy doesn't have shoes small enough for one of my feet. I wear a size 6 in womens on that foot so I'm not sure why that's not a size that's available. Anyway, these kid shoes seem to fit fine, but the fabric doesn't have very much give in terms of bending when my foot/ankle bends in the shoe. The sole of the shoe also doesn't seem very sturdy in terms of lasting very long before wearing out. We will see with time how long they hold up.

Amazing shoes

So my son has pretty bad ankle pronation and has smos. We recently got a new pair of smos that was completely different than the previous and we weren’t able to use the shoes we used previously. These shoes have made our lives a lot easier. His foot and brace sit right inside and we zip them up and are ready to go! I would 10/10 recommend these shoes. One thing I will say is that figuring out the correct size to accolade the brace was a little challenging. But our second try we got the perfect fit.

Just what we needed

My son was born with spina bifida. We just received AFOs to help with his mobility. I struggled to find shoes that would fit over his AFOs and did a search for AFO friendly shoes and BILLY was the first that came up. My son pointed to the pictures of the shoes he wanted and the color. I was so excited to get them and try them. I double and triple measured to ensure that I had the right shoe. When we first got them I had to undo the shoe laces so that they would fit properly but in less than a week my son brings me the both his braces and his shoes.
