My son Farid—whose name beautifully translates to "unique" in Arabic—is the heart, soul, and inspiration behind this brand. Farid is an incredibly cognitively bright and determined child. However, as we navigated his early rehabilitation journey, physical therapy, and the use of mobility aids, we collided with a frustrating daily reality.

Simply putting on a pair of shoes became an everyday struggle. We found ourselves facing an impossible, compromising choice: we could buy high-fashion sneakers that completely lacked the physical accessibility to fit over his Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFOs), or we could settle for clunky, heavy medical-looking shoes that made him feel singled out.

It was during this struggle that I realized what true inclusion really means. True inclusion isn't about creating a separate, segregated category of "special needs" products. It is about universal design—finding brilliant solutions that are so functional, stylish, and easy to use that every child, regardless of their physical abilities, wants to wear them side-by-side on the exact same playground.
