My son who has TBI and has issues with his balance and hands is able to dress himself with this shoe. His job requires an all black shoe with his uniform and these work perfectly. I have bought them in other colors so he can have a variety. I love Billy shoes and recommend them to everyone who has issues using their hands but want to maintain independence. Skeptic proven wrong!

I wasn't sure whether or not these shoes would make much of a difference for me (I wanted them too, but not being able to try them on with so many particulars about fit made me cautious) but they sure did make a difference! These combine form and function, which is such a relief! I wear AFO's with ground force reaction (Ottobock's) for CMT type 2L and have struggled with off-the-shelf shoes for a few years now. My higher arch and the size of my AFO footplate meant wearing no insole for me and wearing size larger on off-the-shelf shoes, but I was pleased I was able to order my regular size (size 10) and was able to keep the insole in with my Billy CS high tops! Huge win! I ordered an all-black pair and the blue pair and have gotten many compliments on the style. They don't look. . . different. . . which pleases me. They are very easy to put on and they are very adjustable. I prefer mine snug for support and they really accommodate that option. Great pair of shoes that I can see being my "daily drivers" for years to come. Wish the good folks at Billy can get shipping times down to below two weeks from order placed to at-door, but that's a minor quibble.

Come across a pair for my 2yr old and I liked the zipper aspect so bought these and a pair of joggers for myself. Absolutely love them. Basic is the best

I have been buying these shoe styles for our disabled son for almost 6 years now. My last purchase, a little over a month ago, I deviated from my usual purchase as this particular item was not available when I needed it. But I thought it would be OK, because I let our son pick from the options available. Alas, I was wrong. He flatly refused to accept the different styled shoes, even though they were awesome Billy shoes AND he had picked them! I tried everything, to no avail. I finally gave up and looked and found that these basic Black to the Floor shoes were back in stock! Thank goodness! As soon as I showed them to him, he put them on right away, without a hitch! They zipped up easily and fit him perfectly. Apparently, I need to stock up on this particular style and size so that I do not have this issue in the future! LOL! I will make sure some deserving soul receives the other pair, as it is too late to return them. I'd rather see them be used then not anyway. We love Billy Shoes and support them 100% Thank you for helping our son be more independent!
